The Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Italia Independent is characterized by vivid, full and brilliant colours, and is simultaneously brought to live by the choice of location of the campaign video. After Japan and Scandinavia, the brand choose Israel, Jordan and the Palestinian Territories as its setting. From Eilat to Petra, from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, passing through Bethlehem and crossing the Negev desert with its red stone mountains, descending to the Dead Sea and plunging into the Red Sea, kilometres of desert interspersed by city where ultra-modern buildings stand next to ancient ones, which are thousands of years old, red mountains that fall sheer to the turquoise sea, palm trees and mountains again to the horizon: this was the journey made by Italia Independent through Israel, Jordan and the Palestinian Territories. All of the products of Italia Independent´s collection as well as the collaborations such as the "Buckless" belts created with Orciani and sneakers made with Vans appear in the video. “The co-existence of tradition and innovation with respect for the different cultures is one of the peculiarities of these places.
